preaching the end of the world

a week ago, a friend told me a rather scary news. she said something about the death of the last of the three children who witnessed the apparition of the Lady of Fatima. her name was Lucia. with her death, the last of the three secrets was also revealed. the world will end in 2010.
for someone frail in spirit and insecure about his deeds, this is really bad news. a lot of people told me that this is not possible, that the world will never end. i believe them. but what if there is an end indeed. i think that would be unfair. i still have a lot of things to accomplish, people to meet, experiences to make, adventures and new discoveries to endeavor. i still have to get married and have children and see my grandchildren and my grandchildren's children. wow that would make me very, very old! it would be so sad.. the generations after us still has to know that life is so good and living it is the only way you'll find out why. there is so much to do yet so little time. man, that is so sad. there are no endings only beginnings, we'll just have to keep that in mind. we'll have to make the most of our time. live as if you're gonna die tomorrow. it is only when one is faced with a deadline that he starts to appreciate the time he was given. oh well.

we went to the prom yesterday, sheesh..
jopet brought us to one of her favorite hang outs after the prom. that was a great consolation for us. it was fun although i was really really sleepy already..(i was already sleepy even before we ate dinner at that hotel or subdivision tennis court whatever)..and we took pictures. i would have to say that the camera is the best invention mankind has ever seen.=) check my other blog for proof..www.keidayoko.blogspot.com..when the pictures come out.

ei nix..nice blog..(",) dont worry too much about the end of the world thing. i keep my faith with what GOD said to Noah that He will never again do things as tragic like what happened to those unbelievers at that era, and i believe that goes for all the other phenomenon and for whatever era it may be. its natural to be scared, i am really scared too! there are so many questions that needs to be answered, and our fears will always be present...the list goes on. lets juz remember that God created us for a purpose, and whatever that may be, its up to Him when He will take us back. we should bare in mind that there's more to life than what we have here. lets juz live the life that He has given us to the fullest.. ingon pa ni james dean, "dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today.." i think i've shared that thought to you a hundred times..or have i not? hehehe! anyways, see yah in school..its such a comfort having you and kaycee around..
