planting life
I planted three seedlings today, 2 mahoganies and 1 nymph tree. In five or more years the little plants whose roots I buried in the ground will become beautiful trees giving life to all.
I find tilling the ground therapeutic lol. Yes truly. Feeling the earth reminds me also of where man came from (for those who believe in the creation story in the Bible) and where man will ultimately find himself.
I’m not sure if I’m a green thumb but I’ll find out later on when I visit the seedlings I planted years from now. If they died then I’m probably not for the earth, if they survived wow then they’re really strong seedlings. Lol.
When I retire I want to be a farmer. That is my ambition. I want to create a beautiful flower garden and plant trees that produce fruits and fragrant blossoms. Right now I like Poison Ivy in Batman not because of her evil character there but because of her special relationship with plants plus she’s one sexy villain. (I’m not saying I don’t have an evil side…everybody has.) She might one day marry a Bush lol get it? Cornz
Anyway, I believe that we should be environment conscious and give back to nature what it has been giving us, life. For so long, nature has provided us with all the things we need. For so long too, we have neglected and abused *raped mother nature, forgetting our responsibility towards her. Now more than ever is the time to repair what can still be repaired of her, preserve what is left and stop the torture. I am a preacher thank you.
I asked Jopet this question, what if some organization calls for volunteers to send to the atmosphere, examine the ozone layer and fill the holes in it with (something, I don’t know..could be ply boards or whatever “filling” technology at that time could afford) would she go like she did for this tree planting activity. She said, yes basta di kita ang itapak. Haha I found it very funny. I think it’s funny. Very funny. Hehe I can’t get over it. Lol.
To get to the area where we would plant the seedlings, we had to climb a steep hill. Actually we have a choice to climb the steep hill or just bury the young plants on lower ground. But we opted for the higher level hehe we got to see a terrific view of the metropolis and had a really fun time balancing our steps towards the top. A kind of rush goes through the body…the thrill of getting there and a bit of fear from falling. Maybe that’s what thrill seekers feel, so they get addicted to dangerous stuff like extreme sports. We didn’t reach the summit of the hill, although Joyce really wanted to because it’s a nice feeling to get to the top (you can almost touch the clouds and talk to God from there and be very sure that you’re heard) it’s like winning a much deserved victory (after all the near slips on the way up…the downhill trip was worse).
Oh and I met, uggh Ryan. What’s he doing there? I told him I’m a nature lover that’s why I was there. A bit of the history of ryan. He is my schoolmate in elementary and high school and oh I just realize even in college (good thing he’s in the other campus). He was good sometimes, crude sometimes well okay crude most of the time. I will never forget the time when he asked me out to see a movie and made me pay for my own cinema ticket. I couldn’t believe I even went out with him. I understand we were just friends but he invited me to go so I assumed...life’s rule, NEVER assume. It’s not cool. There were times when he was good to me, but that event just blew everything. Hehe Anyway, I had a lot of fun. I love nature. I love my companions. I love the earth. I want to do it again. That’s all folks.
