flickster

i could get in trouble for saying this..the OMB might raid my house and leave a mess but im just so overwhelmed lol.
i am thankful for pirated DVDs. (uh..oh..)
well at least the pirated version of this one particular title. the exorcism of emily rose.
horror movies are really not my kind of visual entertainment but with the insistence of my sister and the poor popcorn wanting to be popped lol i well i had to watch the true story about an american girl supposedly possessed by multiple demons.
kaycee was right. it wasn't that scary. and the nature of the copy we had made it less hair raising. i am grateful for the unclear copy of the DVD my sister borrowed from her friend. what we saw was a darker shade of the original. so that when emily's face turns into something horrible or when the scenes become too violent or creepy or even disgusting, i didnt have to worry. lol.
i am also thankful for the imperfect audion effects. occasional coughs coming from the audience (or maybe from the pirate himself lol) even spark up a laugh from me. the subtitle doesnt offer any help either as it waa different version of what was really spoken by the actors.
the downside however is that i couldnt make out clearly the argument of the lawyers. i thought they were really good, especially the lady lawyer. hmm
the movie is supposed to be a true story. at first, i thought of looking it up on the net but then again, maybe not..
