luna-tic

the moon was really big and round last night. or maybe it bloated itself just for me so i could make statements like this hehehe. everybody in my family knows that im a sucker for events that happen in the natural world char, sakto ba? this morning a phone call woke me up. it was my sister on the other side telling me to get up and see the eclipse before i miss it and blame everyone for not telling me hehe.
well i rushed out of bed, dressed and went out of the house..wondering why the moon was nowhere to be found. the trisikad drivers are calling out to me offering me a ride. but i decided to walk and watch out for the eclipse on the bridge. my heart was very excited and my blood rushing to my head and all that but outside of my house, out in the street everything is normal. the trisikad drivers, the tindera, the istambays do not know what's going on. in my head, i was telling them, come on people theres a lunar eclipse going on right now, we need to see it..it may be our last eclipse charring. they have more important things in their mind..
my direction was north but the moon was southbound, i realized later. when i didnt see the moon on the north side i decided to go back home then i saw it. it reminded me of the early console game pacman..the sun has taken a quarter bite on the moon. poor moon. i went back to the house to get myself a transportation device eg motorcycle so i can chase the moon. but when i went out the moon has gone, my father said it probably went down already now hidden by the hills.
well i wasnt entirely disappointed, i saw parts of it man sad. but im very disappointed with the trisikad drivers. as i was looking at that space in the sky where the moon was, the drivers gathered round me. curious on what i was looking for. i told them im watching the moon, there's an eclipse. they said, oh the moon has gone you should have been here an hour ago it was huge then, maybe you should come back tomorrow. ??
they have no idea :(

refer to title: i read somewhere,(maybe it was in paolo coelhos book) that crazy people very often would stare at the moon or luna, hence the word lunatic to refer to the mentally handicapped. but im not one of them, i just like staring at the moon, the sky and everything in it. hehe defensive.
