there's no way but up
Gloria Macapagal Arroyo cheated! that's what the wire tapped conversation she had with a Comelec official suggests. im so tired of all these. there's nothing but chaos here. philippine politics at its worst. im scared of the coup attempts. im scared of the things that might happen. what could happen? i dont even know. i saw in the paper yesterday that the stock market is not doing well, i checked my portfolio in the stock trading game in pse.com and im losing. prices have gone up. (you cant buy a pandesal for one peso no more, its two pesos for one pandesal at julie's bakeshop) oil price is up. jeepney fare is set to go up. tuition fee is up by not less than 10% in my school. even my mother's blood pressure is up. hehehe im such a nagger.
im just so bummed coz i really wanted to join the fun run organized by DYAB cebu tomorrow, june 12 thats independence day for all of us, but can't because my father says so. my father is insecure. insecure of his job. the city mayor he works for and one of the anchors of the said radio station are mortal enemies. im so grrrr upset! joining could jeopardize his job. well i dont want him to lose his job. oh well.
today, we (family) ate ice cream and watched diamonds are forever. i love us.

i also thought of joining the "fun run", pero wala ko kalugar... wala pud koy practice, basin ma-injured lang ko... dili na na "fun" nga run kung ingun ana... :)
one thing that's strange about PGMA is that she never (to my knowledge) said anything about the audio recordings. she never denied it was her voice on the tape/CD. i thought instinct sa isa ka supposedly innocent nga tawo ang mu-deny or mu-reject sa allegations nga gi-labay kaniya. i thought, if she really is innocent, that her immediate reaction would be to vehemently deny that it was her voice on the audio recording. is that an indication of guilt?
pero lisud pud magpataka ta ug accuse, although for me believable ang recordings. what should be done is for an independent group or firm to study thoroughly the recordings if they indeed are authentic. if there's sufficient basis for an impeachment, then by all means let's impeach her. bottom line is, legal and peaceful means should be used to solve the present crisis.

Two pesos per pan de sal na ba??? Mahal a! Siguro kay Gigi na lang ako bibili ng pan de sal; baka may discount. Hehe. :-)

nakaka-buang na nga ang wire tap incident na yan. but i've been thinking, lets say an independent firm proved that it was PGMA's voice, is the tape even admissible in court for an impeachment case? hay ambot!!! politics in the philippines is crazy!

the tape isnt admissible in court sabi ni leo lastimosa because it was illegally acquired man daw. lol sige sa iyo na lang kami bibili ng pan de sal hehe.. thanks all for the comment!
