caribbean blue is not reggae to enya

We arrived too late to ride the first bus to Vistamar where we will be having our acquaintance party. Clang2x, Jopet and I had to wait for the first bus to come back and bring us to the place. We waited for an hour or so. I was all excited thinking about the beach and the pools and well okay the food as we were already hungry. (We had to get up early and sacrifice breakfast but were still too late for the bus)
The bus arrived yes, finally we were on our way to the sun, the beach and the party people.
So there we were. It was a bore.
The emcee announced that a contest called the amazing race will be held. To get the bore out of our system, we joined the competition. We were supposed to be composed of 8-12 members but there were only three of us, so we decided to sign in the name of Gilmark who hasn’t arrived yet, of Doris who was busy with registration, Bhea who has no idea of what was going on and of anybody we could think of without their consent. That’s supposed to be illegal, noh? We also recruited PJ, the hunk of a cousin of Jopet. The game was to start and there were only five of us, oh well we went on anyway. PJ proved to be very useful in the game, he did all the physically challenging dares like that game where they made him drink all kinds of vile stuff and also that one where he was to swim lapses for 3 minutes without resting. Bhea and I did the memory game while Jopet did the logic game. PJ, Clang2x and I went in the water for the coin game. The group games were cool, the form a triangle game was that name of game? And also the unscramble the scrambled letters game, the eat your vegetables raw game and the most fun of all is the caterpillar walk. In the caterpillar walk, all the team members’ legs are tied to each other and they had to climb down and then up again a flight of stairs. It was really fun trying to coordinate the legs and all. Clang2x enjoyed it all more than anyone would. She confessed that PJ was her crush, we did the amazing race and they rubbed shoulders, held hands, touched feet all along. I really need to find a crush in school so that I can have some kilig moments too. I wonder if we won that game, we left before the program was formally ended.
I was expecting some sun that day but I didn’t expect that much sun. I have bad burns on my shoulder and face and neck, the parts that got burned look like tocino. And they hurt!!! I didn’t mind putting sunblock which was I realize a bad idea. I had fun. It was the ultimate jpia party, the Caribbean blues.
