your 'buying power' and what it means

an hour before my AC24 class today, i decided to go to EMall to buy postcards for my penpals and to wala lang just roam around and have a little bit of walking exercise hehe. the postcards were too expensive so i thought id get them later this week. but i did buy a pair of dangling earrings worth P20.00. each earring has a red and a black bead hanging on 2 strings of silver metal and looked as ordinary as can be. there is no special occasion or reason why i bought the pair. but im afraid though if my subconscious urged me to buy them for the sake of well, buying. (and also maybe, just maybe, these could be charmed pieces. why, it's intuition telling you to have it. maybe it has a magic spell like blusang itim hehe)
two days ago, my sister asked me to buy her her Rica's (yes, Rica Peralejo) Deepest Secret Calamansi Whitening Soap which i agreed to at once since EMall is near the university and i like going around and examining the products at watson's. (even if only to check the expiration dates of the beauty care products hehe)
some of the soap bars were on sale that day, some going on buy 1 take 1. ivory soap went for buy 1 take 2 (well, i think, coz of the packaging) and another soap went buy 2 get one free liquid hand sanitizer. marketing is such a creative field. anyway, i dont know what gripped me (maybe ang mga kamay ni Hilda hehe) but i went out the store with 6 bars of soap and 2 pocket tissues. no, i dont smell that bad! i just cant stop myself, the fact maybe that they were on sale made me imagine that im getting a bargain price. i thought of returning back two bars of soap but it was too late since the cashier was ready to scan the items when my senses came back to me. hehe now all in all i have five bars of soap for myself, two green papaya, 1 cream bar, 1 green papaya-cucumber and one pineapple with papaya which i am using now. daghana flavor sa sabon oi!
there was one time when i went to GTabs and bought stickers because i felt like i had to. now our refrigerator has stickers because i ran out of ideas on where to put them on. i remember how once i bought a 3d wall decoration, it was small like a medium sized photo frame. everyone in the house laughed at me because of it. i think it's lost now. there was also this dress from ukay2x that i kept hidden because i know my mother will ask me why i bought it. (and still wonder why after i answer)
could these buying on impulse be symptoms of what experts call obssessive compulsive disorder? it's ok if i have the ocd as long as ive super powers like Elektra. but maybe im just another case of a woman lost in the world of consumerism charr. or wala lang. ana lang jud na siya. ang life. haay.

my room is filled with unnecessary stuff and lots of excess baggage? hehe luckily, we are now on waste management techniques in our ac33 class and so maybe i might pick up some tips and apply it in my lovely life. i am doing a process map for this PLS case study and im not sure if it's right. but i have to pass it tomorrow but wait right now is tomorrow already. hehe 2:01am. (the title should have been 'my buying power and what it says about me'. this page after all is all about me, me, moi, ako! ako! lagi na lang ako!! sa math, ako. sa science, ako. kasi ako lang din naman ang nag enroll eh..hehe)
