in a nutshell (a coconut nut lol is not a nut)

ATM Sat
on our way to the bridal boutique of some char! in mactan, i saw a big box that looked like a refrigerator which i found amusing, not because of its appearance but because of its name. its called an ATM machine, Automatik Tubig Machine. hehe 1 peso for a glass of water was it. 5 pesos for a gallon. im not so sure as we were only passing by, i didnt see clearly the figures printed on the streamer. a water vending machine. i really dont like vending machines although i have used this convenient store in a box quite a number of times. i dont like it coz sometimes it eats my coins and never give me what i want even if i pound on it so hard my fists would hurt. lol
Father's Day Sun
my father has been singing What A Wonderful World the whole week last week. finally, on Sunday he bought a keyboard (the ones on sale these days for becoming obsolete models)because he wants to hear it played. unfortunately, nobody in our family knows how to play it. so im downloading chord patterns and all for a crash course and provide everyone with copies for their own study. and a special copy for my father, What A Wonderful World chords and lyrics to end his LSS. it was father's day, i guess he was touched lol or something when my little cousin greeted him while the two of them were taking painit together. hehe
Rulz Mon
yesterday, i went to school in my uniform. i found out when i arrived that we were supposed to wear the uniform next monday pa. lol another blooper in the life of me. there were only a handful of us wearing it.
the school's administration is trying to implement a lot of policies this year. new no long hair policy for the boys. new uniforms for the guys. new ID's for everyone. haayy new everything. there used to be a three inches below the belt line policy for the females (refers to any top worn on Wednesdays when females are allowed to wear civilian clothes). ive violated this a few times but i was allowed in. but there was one time, when i wore a shirt that was 3 inches below the belt line but was not allowed entrance. it was a funny experience though sometimes irritating to think about. anyway, the no long hair policy is not very popular but in the end students will have to bow down to the administration. i just dont see how having long hair could affect the learning process of students. uniforms for males. the gay folks are very much against this lol they wont be able to dress as shemales anymore if they will be compelled to wear uniforms inside the campus. one gay friend even went to join the rally in T-campus to voice out his right to express himself lol. (i saw a gay schoolmate in high school last week, gosh. she looked more girlash than me) another new thing, Wednesday, being wash day( a day to wear civilian clothes) will be phased out. no more wash day, everyone will wear uniforms everytime they want to go inside the campus. so this means that the 3 inches below the beltline policy wont apply anymore. im okay with this. but some have violent reactions toward this issue. Wednesday is the only day of the week where the "high class" could show off their branded clothes.noh? but there are some good reasons why the wash day should be retained. would wearing make up be banned too? good thing i dont do this. the ID system. we'll be using electronic IDs, para swipe2x daw. this is okay for me, its high tech and i like high tech. but i just had my ID renewed, now i have to pay for a new one. another new thing, i almost forgot. there's a new teaching method it's called team teaching. but i dont feel comfortable with it. two block sections, almost a hundred students cramped in one classroom (the room is the size of two and airconditioned but still). haay anyway its okay. im so excited lol i hope this year would go by fast coz next year, in the summer, will be my practicum and a year after I'll be a graduate. hopefully. then i'll get a job, then i'll get a boyfriend. then i'll get married and have kids. lol if God allows it. and if God favors me, i'll even have grandchildren. layo na kaayo hehe.

naa poy "atm" dapit sa velez. ingenious jud ning mga pinoy oi...

naa sa TC gaeskwela ako manghud. nag arki siya. lain lagi kuno kaayo ang daghan nga changes. i for one don't see the point of the haircut policy, the uniform, and the id card nga iswipe2x. taas kaayo buhok ako bro so lagot siya. hehe. pero dili mana maka-affect sa imu learning tuod how you sport your hair. hinuon, neat jud tan-awun ang clean cut. okay ra man sad unta kung walay uniform. though nice pud tan-awun kung mag-uniform tanan... some schools man gud make a business out of uniforms. for example, isa ra ka patahi-anan ang nagmonopolize sa amo uniforms didto sa gullas. klaro kaayo nga money-making scheme ang tuyo sa uban eskwelahan. ang pagswipe2x pud, murag inarte ra man na, puno2x lang jud sa gasto. murag dili necessary, or walay need for it. though tinuod nice pud ang feeling kung mas-swipe2x naka when entering the school. but really, what's the point? :)

hehe! nung college ako kinuha kong course fine arts, daming long haired guys. yung mga girls may freedom sa uniform. ok lang na skirt (any cut) or pants (kahit anong style, even denims are allowed basta same color) di nila kasi pwedeng higpitan ang fine arts students, di lalabas ang pagka-artist hehe!

baka naman tinuturuan lang kayo ng school ninyo about discipline, at the same time inaayos din nila ang image nila as a school. ok lang yan, sundin nyo na lang sila. pagkagraduate ninyo then you can have all the freedom! enjoy ur college life! :-)

true... :)

i think the school's only promoting its "image".

i also agree that it's about discipline. in nursing or allied medical courses for instance, students need to wear uniforms because it's part of instilling discipline in them, preparing them for careers that require obedience and respect for authority and order. with fine arts, humanities, or the more liberal courses, you can't impose rigid rules and policies because you'd be limiting the students' creativity, freedom and individuality. :)
