groupie night

groupie - a girl fan of rock groups or other popular personalities, who follow them about, often in the hope of achieving sexual intimacy (in our case, it's minus the and 'hope of achieving sexual intimacy' part)

last night was terribly fun! there were a lot of people inside ayala. what with events going all at once! just outside starbucks is Constantine Maroulis's concert, in the parking lot area is the PBB eviction, inside the mall is the Harry Potter showing in three cinemas and a sale is to go on til midnight. you bump into a lot of people like you would click on a bomb in minesweeper. if i didn't know any better, i would think that the whole population of Cebu resided in the ayala grounds that night.

i invited Sean to come along to watch the Constantine's concert with us. i thought it was for free but when we got there the guards wouldn't let us in. we needed tickets. and the tickets were all sold out by that time. so kaycee, russell, sean, joyce, jopet and i settled in the steps of a coffee shop strategically situated 10-15 meters from the stage that could allow us to see Constantine's back while he's performing.
the show was to start at 8pm. Sean, being a very time conscious South Korean exclaimed "when i see this Constantine, i will talk to him and ask why he's late". 10 or was it 15 minutes later, Constantine appeared prompting the audience to give out screams of anticipation? then he disappeared into the tent to get dressed and ready to face the royal audience hehe.

it was a great opening number, i don't know what that song was. he's style is rock. he later sang a song from aerosmith. actually i don't know much about him from tv since i dont watch american idol. i've only known of him from kaycee who sent me pictures of him downloaded from the internet in the morning of that day. this guy's name, Constantine, sounds greek literally and looks greek too. he's got strong features. why do most rock stars wear long hair? is it to create some dramatic effect when they bang their head in the air and sweat splashes all over the stage? he's got long hair..nice hair actually, nicer than mine.lol

he sang one of my favorite songs, Kiss From a Rose by Seal. there were only two songs that i was able to sing along with. Seal's song and Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen. Bohemian Rhapsody was the last song he sang after the audience shouted for an encore. i was so happy. although we weren't able to get tickets, i think we were more fortunate than those who were able to get one. Constantine would stand on an elevated corner of the stage and face us. he is so nice. i like him already for doing that. Sean, whose hobby is to analyze people, said that 'this guy has charm'.

now, there was this other guy, probably one of constantine's staff looking handsome in a white polo shirt. he is so cute. after the show, Constantine signed some cds and took pictures with some people. we, on the other hand, were busy shaking hands with the white shirt guy whose name, we found out later on, was Jason. he is so nice. he's hand felt so smooth. he's so white (actually i think he was almost pale... not albino white, maybe snow white lol) he entertained us for a minute or two. so nice guy. that would be the best two minutes of my life.:)

hahaay, i can't watch Harry Potter today because i've conflicting schedules..im so busy hehe but not to busy to sit in front of pc typing and having breakfast at the same time.

oh yes, yesterday (in the am), i wanted to shout, rejoice, praise God, dance, everything. mam lapus sent me a text message saying i passed her taxation exam!! im so so happy, i should be, it was a removal exam. i feel guilty for sleeping once in her class. sorry madam. im getting my life back. thank God for being so kind.

*groupie - girl who passed her taxation exam, goes out to see a concert with friends and korean tutee and having a real good time.

i'm a happy groupie=)
