fire dog and shaping destiny

because i am born in the year of the Ox, i will be unlucky this year. the feng shui master on TV said that my sign isn't compatible with the fire dog that rules this year. what i will have to do to counter bad luck he said is to keep a rabbit or dog figurine in the house. i'm not sure where he said dog or rabbit..lol.
now dogs, i have. live ones and stuffed ones. but rabbits...i mean, rabbits are cute sometimes but i don't really fancy them too much. when i look at stuffed rabbits i get the feeling that they're possessed or something lol. they tend to morph in my mind into something scary..like chuckie, the chaka doll! lol.
anyway, i think dogs are enough to secure my good fortune hehe. i hope our female dogs would get preggy and give birth. then my fortune would be multiplied by the number of live births the bitches will bring forth to the world. lol.
anything that has to do with fire will be successful this year. i wonder if the fire burning in my eyes would be any success lol. the fire in my heart and in my soul too!! i think i'm gonna set myself ablazing if this goes on! lol.
all doors must stay open before the clock strikes 12am of the chinese new year to let good fortune flow inside the house. wind chimes should adorn entryways and chinese coins be placed in strategic places. this is all the insurance one needs.lol (so maybe it's time to pull out your insurance money, the companies are going to the dogs anyway. lol)
i can always count on my mother to obey the practices of the popular belief. she doesn't fully believe in all of it though. how can belief be more true?
if i dont get lucky this year then i guess im unlucky. lol.
