oh barbra
listening to barbra again.. again and again.. im talking about barbra joan streisand. she is one of those singers who can really sing! i love the way she mellows her voice to a soft whisper or the way she stresses some lines of her songs. and the way she makes you stop and really listen to the words that come out of her mouth. she's a classic. (although i learned from ms palapar's class that classic in its strictest sense should refer only to everything roman or greek hmmp)i feel the emotions in them, love, sadness, regret, bliss, etc. some songs from her that i like listening to:

im also liking regine velasquez now..before i didnt like her that much but when i saw her interview in Sharon! i was able to appreciate her voice.
i am envious of the people in manila because christina aguilera will be there for a concert next week. i hope they bring stars like her here in cebu. stars like barbra, christina, regine and nikki (the pop star of all pop stars, the mother of all pop stars)oh wait, nikki lives here..hehe

im a streisand fan too! hehehe! and The Way We Were is my fave streisand classic, along with People, Finally Found Someone and People... i love her movies pud, though i haven't seen her movie with Robert Redford, which i think is the best among the rest. wa lang, i saw the trailer... the way we were pud ang title. and do u know kinsa pa nahan ni barbra? si tita mary! ahahahah!

i want to watch that movie too!! robert redford is one of the most gorgeous men ever para nako ha hehe. i saw a part pud of that film kay gipakita sa iyang concert dvd.

Barbara Streisand was here in Switzerland (concert in Zurich). I think the price of a ticket ranged from CHF150 to CHF2,200.
My fave Pinoy singer is Lea Salonga. Regine is a great singer, too, but there's something about her I don't quite like...can't put my finger on it.

i like lea salonga too! i think maybe regine seems kinda aloof and hard to reach. i shouldnt be judging whom i do not know but this is how she seems to me. mayyybe just a little bit..
