bye bsa, hello bsma

last week, i learned that i have to shift to another course. i didnt make it to the cutoff grade for a subject that i retook and the department's retention policy states that only one retake per subject is allowed. i was faced with the following choices: shift course but stay in my current university, continue my course but in a different school where the cutoff grade is lower, or quit school altogether. (my father's going to kill me with the last one.)
i know i didnt really push it hard enough. i couldve done better. but that's cliche and what's done is done. (i actually have that phrase as my motto in highschool hehe) no regrets. (another highschool motto) but the truth is, i do have regrets. i spent three summer months in school to be able to stay in the curriculum. i wasted time and effort and money. money that wasnt even mine.
i was going to start with my ojt. i was going to enroll ac28(ojt) for the summer and take up fola(nihonggo). i was going to graduate next year 2007. i was going to climb up stage and look at students my age, my batch. i was going to review and take the board exam. i was going to be like my father. my life's course made a major turn. the things that i was going to do will have to be reconsidered. they will have to wait. they will have to be changed.
when i broke the news to my father, he was very upset. i understand. but he was cool two days later. that made me happy.
looking at the bright side..hey, i will graduate this year. mrs. lapus allowed me to do my ojt(although i didnt have to since it's not in the bsma curriculum) in her firm for the summer. i will be able to go to bohol with my family this april. i can do things i wouldve loved to do during the summer. things/activities that i missed out because i had to go to school. i am now relieved with all the stress that the cutoff used to give me.
my family have always been supportive of me. and im glad.

to do

dont put off for tomorrow what you can do the day after tomorrow.lol.
i realize, quite late actually, that ive been putting off things that i should be doing.
here's how..i've been telling myself to write an entry in this blog about the Nanzan University volunteer students from Japan. i planned on to write about their experiences, my experience with them, and the kids that they helped during their two week long stay in Cebu. instead, i wrote down the Japanese version of Twinkle Little Star.
after joining Ondong in his ringhop ceremony, which turned out to be a disaster for me (maybe 75% disaster), i swore to myself that i'd write that one unbearable event down. i would spell out the events of a night where i felt lost and detached lol.
i would have written down that time when i went searching for a guest speaker to give a small discussion to a bunch of 4th year students about tax minimization. i didnt have any idea who to contact and i only have two days. and yet i ended up getting a CPA and one bar exam topnotcher to take time off their busy scheds. but i didnt get to upload that, as i was in the habit of putting off things.
but all those mentioned involve blogging. lol.
ok whatever.

dreams

im not sure if it's something i ate or if my mind just have too much to think about or too much tv (but i only watch csi and life as we know it..well sometimes i do watch other shows) but im getting a lot of dreams.
i was lining up for lunch at the school cafeteria. i chose to have one cup of rice and sud-an..but when i went to the cashier, i was shocked to find out that i have to pay 59 pesosesoses!! one rice and one sud-an!!! i asked the cashier to recalculate my food items, there must be a mistake..normally i would only have to pay 20-30 pesos. she recalculated and admitted to have committed a mistake. she said my lunch would cost me P73 pesos. ngeek!! unbelievable! are you kidding me? ppuhleasse...lol
instead of paying such high price i questioned them on why their cash register machine doesnt issue receipts. if i have to pay an unreasonable price then i must at least have a receipt so the government can make vengeance for me..bwahaha i thought maybe i am a special case so i asked the other students around me if they are paying a higher price than normal. just as i guessed! something fishy is going on around here.... hmmmn must be all the fish.. hehe (lenten season has started, the canteen often serves fish now)
the cashier told me to go to the owner of Steyler. so i went to her. there was a sudden change of scenery. the owner (truly unbelievable) happened to be the governor of Cebu, gov. gwen garcia. she was hosting some kind of party in an empty building..an abandoned building like that in filipino action movies. when she saw me, she motioned for me to follow her. and suddenly i found myself chasing her..and she was running like the witch in barbie as rapunzel in a scene where the prince was chasing after the witch who disguised herself as rapunzel. then she went through a little opening in the wall. she slid in so easily but when i tried i couldnt get in..which made me realize that ive gained so much weight already lol.
finally, i caught up with her. then three guys appeared from nowhere and then grabbed me and held me down. so glad that my dream stopped there. i do not know karate!! i better work on some self defense moves so that next time scenes like that would happen, i would know what to do. arrrghh..deep inside of me, i wished that the dream didnt stop. i mean, i havent confronted her yet about the cash register machine and also i didnt get to eat my lunch! lol.

i dreamed of jewel

i dreamt of jewel kilscher. she didnt look like herself (one that i see on tv) but i knew it was her lol. it was really weird. her mother is filipino and her father american. and she liked art(we went to a gallery). and she smoked. and i stammered. then i woke up with my father poking my armpits. lol. we could have turned into bestfriends had i not been roused from sleep. grrr!!
