lunch time

man, this chicken is tough! i am lunching away with this chicken leftover that i reheated this morning in the microwave oven. (yes im eating and blogging at the same time, got a problem with that? hehe) i dont know where it came from. it says dokik's. my sister prob brought this home last night. usually when meat is tough, my mother would say that the (say squid) is probably old or that the pig slaughtered(in the case of pork) wasn't a young one. if old age makes meat tough, then this chicken must be a hundred and one years old. i feel like im biting into hard plastic. my 2 front teeth can attest to that.
or maybe, i wasnt able to reheat it properly. it still tastes good. it's just so hard. the chicken wing feels like nylon strands in my mouth.
but all in all im having a good lunch. and the monggos from MC makes it even better.

addiction

im addicted to ebay. whenever i need something, the first thing that comes to my mind is ebay. it has become my source for ehm..everything. not everything really but most things. i don't go to malls anymore. i just sit on my butt and shop online. and still i wonder why my belly has become flabby. *eyes roll* i don't have my own credit card. i use a friend's credit card. and oh the bills, the bills when they come. i just try not to panic. i am aware of my purchases but i admit that i think i have been buying too many out of the thrill of buying on ebay. yes there's a thrill. case in point, i was bidding on this skirt on ebay and i thought i was gonna win because nobody else placed a bid on it. but just to make sure i wont be outbid, i watched it until there was only 2 minutes left from end time. then suddenly, after clicking on "refresh" i saw that was outbid. i panicked. i quickly placed a bid, but the page still says that i've been outbid. there was less than a minute left. i placed another bid but that wasn't enough to steal the skirt from the winning bidder. she had probably placed it on automatic bidding. the b****. this has not only happened once but probably 4 or 5 times already. oh well. anyways, i have planned to use ebay as a means of earning extra income. but sadly, as i was accounting for my losses and gains lol i realized i have been operating under a near loss. it's because i always buy extra stuff for myself or for my sister (who never pays. it's a near loss because i'm only a few pesos away from going below breakeven. oh well.
but that wont stop me from visiting ebay. i love online shopping. it's just that sometimes you get lost because of the many many choices that's one click away for you. i like my present inventory of items. i have new sunglasses. im selling my old one for 99 pesos, anyone? i bought 4 new swim suits. what am i going to do with four swim suits. well i was gonna sell the 2 pairs. the other two is for me and my sister. oh my sister bought shorts and a swimming top. ive bid on a shoe for my aunt. i bought 2 tops for my mother. i think that would be enough for mother's day. i bought a turbo sim, (it's a sim that unlocks locked phones). i also have 2 pairs of jeans, one of which im selling back on ebay. now my bills won't stop coming. for now i can handle the bills. but i got to stop the purchases. because of it, i have not followed my savings schedule. i got to get myself right back on track. and save for the life of me.

public executions

Big news the other day. Ted Failon, a well known tv and radio news anchor, is suspected to have killed his wife in their own home. Such a flurry this news has caused. Who would think that the guy we see every night in our tv sets is capable of murdering his own wife. A lot of people think so. Even before anything has been proven, the public already have their judgment. Poor guy. I really think he is genuine. I don't think he is power hungry. I don't know the guy but that's my take on him. Looks can really be deceiving.
The wife could have committed suicide. They blame it on financial problems. How big could this problem be that she thinks it's bigger than her life? We could only speculate.
Three reasons why the police suspected Ted Failon. First, the bathroom where the wife was killed, was spot clean when the police had arrived. Second, Ted took the gun used and according to the police this is tampering of the evidence. Third, there was no contact shot, meaning if the wife had committed suicide, it would be a close shot but the evidence doesnt point that way.
This is very tragic for the family. A feast for the media.
For some people, Ted is guilty until proven otherwise.

chicken...run!!!!

i remember when we were kids, my cousin would egg his mother to buy him a chick. a baby chicken, a chick. my sisters and i would beg and beg our father to buy us one too, but he would never give in to our request. he says that if he buys one for us it will just die. so we go to our cousin's house to play with his pet chick. i think it's animal cruelty what we used to do. oh the fun we would have when we see the chick's anus quiver/flex when we blow air on it. and the chick would die. it's true what my father said. it will die, then my cousin would ask his mom to buy him another one. everyday a chick dies. until his chick craze left him and pogs became famous. pogs saved the chicks.

TODAY

Hello blog. missed yah. ^^

Today marks the day that I will start to live for today.
There will be no thinking, no looking back at the past (with regrets). The past has gone and it's not coming back. Won't ever come back, only celine dion thinks it's all coming back.

I feel so good. :-)
