oh barbra

listening to barbra again.. again and again.. im talking about barbra joan streisand. she is one of those singers who can really sing! i love the way she mellows her voice to a soft whisper or the way she stresses some lines of her songs. and the way she makes you stop and really listen to the words that come out of her mouth. she's a classic. (although i learned from ms palapar's class that classic in its strictest sense should refer only to everything roman or greek hmmp)i feel the emotions in them, love, sadness, regret, bliss, etc. some songs from her that i like listening to:

of course, Evergreen
you dont bring me flowers anymore
send in the clowns
the way we were
ahehehe i think all of them siguro including those that i cant remember right now hehe

im also liking regine velasquez now..before i didnt like her that much but when i saw her interview in Sharon! i was able to appreciate her voice.

i am envious of the people in manila because christina aguilera will be there for a concert next week. i hope they bring stars like her here in cebu. stars like barbra, christina, regine and nikki (the pop star of all pop stars, the mother of all pop stars)oh wait, nikki lives here..hehe

ohhhh i have to attend review..

just checking my PSE game status

The overall national economy is doing good. hehe my guess..but not without basis. I reviewed my stock portfolio in the online Philippine Stock Exchange Game, something that i havent done for so long and lo and behold, i profited more than 30% of my initial investment. if this was real money i would have been 388,657 pesos richer because that's the amount in pesos of increase in my investments. I didnt even think hard on which companies to invest in since it's just a game. i only looked up the stock symbols in the newspaper and bought, using the 1,ooo,ooo pesos initial investment money that i supposedly have, whatever stock i feel a good vibration to from each business sector/industry. The highest gainers were those from the mining sector, i bought lots of these because they were very cheap..but i heard that this is a very risky type of investment too coz prices of mining products are volatile or something. anyway, what im trying to say here is that the economy is more stable now and that is good for us. for all of us. and the world too. and maybe even the entire universe.
i remember before, during the time of pres ramos, the country was described to be an emerging economic tiger. charr. i think we were cubs then, i dont know for sure coz i didnt read through. two presidents later, the country is still a cub. i hope we grow up. and grow up together. and be a tiger.

why not dinosaur? it's much much bigger. hehe
it's all in the mind...
